Darlene Rahn entered the world of massage therapy after graduating in September of 2006 from The Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy. While in school, she was able to focus her outreach treatments on athletes involved in cross country running and track & field which has since allowed her the privilege of treating several Canadian Olympic marathoners and Ironman competitors. She is also qualified to treat a vast array of ailments including but not limited to tendonitis, carpal tunnel, arthritis, low back & SI joint issues, back/neck/shoulder issues, prenatal issues and headaches.
Darlene also offers hot stone treatments (which involves applying heat to the muscles of the body using heated stones allowing an increase in circulation & relaxation), cupping therapy (which promises to decrease muscular/fascial restrictions & improve muscular/joint range of motion), acupuncture (which can treat various musculoskeletal and joint issues) and Vodder certified manual lymph drainage treatments (which treats those afflicted with lymphedema). Darlene also offers a heated treatment table.
Using a combination of massage and strengthening/stretching recommendations, Darlene is eager to help all of her patients attain whatever goal they have set for themselves whether it is having an injury free golf season, eliminating their chronic pain or running their first 5k.
In her spare time, Darlene enjoys running in trail races and spoiling her grandson, Jackson and her two fur babies.
