As a naturopathic doctor, I believe in the ability of healthcare providers to inspire people to reach their optimal state of wellness. I think it is important to address the underlying causes of symptoms, and I use the tools of naturopathic medicine to help patients remove obstacles to take control of their health.
I practice evidence-based, individualized care, and see my role being to educate and empower my patients to make the changes their lives require. My goal is to help you feel like yourself again.
I graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and went on to study naturopathic medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. Following graduation, I practiced in Halifax, Nova Scotia for two years before moving to Guelph.
I am a registered member with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario and have been qualified by the College for the additional standards of practice of therapeutic prescribing and intravenous infusion therapy. I am also a participating member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
I focus on clinical nutrition, preventative medicine and emotional wellbeing to address patient concerns. I have treated patients with a wide range of conditions, and have a special interest in naturopathic support of neurological, digestive and thyroid diseases.
