I have been involved in health and fitness for a number of years and have established myself as a catalyst to help my clients achieve their wellness goals.
I practice evidence-informed chiropractic care and I use best-practice guidelines, along with clinical expertise and patient input, to create individualized treatment plans. I believe in empowering my patients to achieve their goals, and I look forward to being able to help my clientele realize their potential. I use a variety of chiropractic and manual therapy techniques, along with an emphasis on the active component to care – including education and exercises, to help my patients’ decrease their pain and improve their function.
I graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and went on to study chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. While at CMCC, I was involved with the rehab2performance group, advocating for evidence-based active rehabilitation strategies in a clinical setting.
After graduating, I furthered my education with certifications in contemporary medical acupuncture through McMaster University, functional range release soft tissue techniques, and movement assessments (selective functional movement assessment and athletic movement assessment). I am a registered member with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO) and a participating member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association (OCA) and the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA).
As a primary care practitioner – my first priority is you, the INDIVIDUAL in front of me. My priority is to listen, to understand, to validate your concerns, to manage your expectations, to help you understand what is going on, and to provide you with the tools and education to feel better.
I look forward to supporting you on your journey to achieve better health!
