Karah is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
Karah’s passion for the intricate nature of the body developed while training as a rhythmic gymnast for over ten years. During her athletic career she travelled around the world representing team Canada, competing with Canada’s Senior National Group at the 2010 World Championships in Moscow Russia. Karah won 1st Place at the Pan American Championships in Guadalajara Mexico in 2010, part of the pre-qualification requirements for the 2012 Olympics. While training and competing at this level, injuries were common, however through rehabilitation and successful management, these challenges fostered her devotion to understanding the body.
Karah’s interest in injury prevention and management led her to study at the University of Guelph where she obtained her BSc in Human Kinetics. She then studied massage therapy at the Ontario College of Health and Technology. With a drive to enhance her knowledge, she enrolled with the Canadian College of Osteopathy and is currently enrolled in her 3rd year of study.
