I’m Tracy Kennedy, a Registered Clinical Social Worker.
I am a Registered Social Worker and a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers as well as the Ontario Association of Social Workers. I have an undergraduate degree in Social Development Studies and a Bachelor of Social Work both from the University of Waterloo. As well as a Graduate degree in Social Work from Carleton University. I have dedicated the past 12 years of my life to the social work praxis and have worked in the public sector for the last 7 years providing services to people of all ages who are struggling with mental health, addictions, violence, grief/loss and trauma. I am committed to ongoing education and regularly read research articles, books and attend workshops to build upon my knowledge and skills.
I am a warm spirited person who truly listens to and respects my clients. I welcome clients of diverse ages, cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations and gender identifications. I maintain a counselling relationship in which clients feel empowered to work towards their desired positive change and maintain an awareness of the bravery it takes to seek counselling. During sessions together we will find hope, strength, and resilience and provide you with the tools you need to live life without being encumbered by your struggles.
In my personal life I enjoy connecting with loved ones, time in nature, yoga, running and am an avid traveller.
I am currently offering service after 4:30PM on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. I invite you to meet with me for a free 30 minute session where you can decide if the services I provide are the right fit for you. (Please note that due to a professional conflict of interest, I am unable to see clients who receive services from Family & Children’s Services of Guelph and Wellington County).
For a complimentary 15 minute consultation, or for more information, contact us here or call 519-265-8035.
